It’s important to note that foam mattresses are a much better choice for children compared to their spring counterparts. Springs in pocket mattresses are selected to perfectly support different parts of the body of a sleeping person (e.g., softer under the head and firmer under the hips). However, in the case of a child’s delicate and still developing skeleton, these zones do not always align with their body shape. A child might also be too light to properly activate the springs. Foam Selection in the Adriano Mattress
The Adriano foam mattress is crafted from three different types of modern foams to provide maximum support for a child’s spine. The first type is highly elastic HR foam H30, which features a bubble-like structure that allows it to adapt well to a child’s body shape. These bubbles not only gently yield to their weight but also provide breathability, which contributes to the mattress’s excellent anti-allergic properties. Additional filling is provided by polyurethane foam, which adds springiness to the mattress and increases its resistance to permanent deformation.
However, the most significant advantage of the Adriano mattress is undoubtedly the third type of foam used in its production: profiled, highly elastic R44 foam. Its profiled surface functions similarly to the zonal spring arrangement in adult mattresses. The R44 foam divides the mattress into 7 zones, each responding perfectly to the pressure of different parts of the child’s body, adjusting to their needs regardless of age or weight. The profiling ensures that the foam responds more gently to the pressure of lighter body parts (e.g., the head) and more strongly to heavier parts (e.g., the hips or shoulders), giving the mattress orthopedic properties.
Oeko-Tex Certification: Standard 100

Cover
The quilted ALOE cover has anti-allergic and antibacterial properties. It is made from specialized fibers and is additionally infused with aloe vera leaf extract, which supports blood circulation and is gentle on the skin. The cover also protects against the excessive development of dust mites. Thanks to its thermal properties, it provides excellent air permeability and is perfectly suited for well-lit interiors as it absorbs UV rays. The cover features a zipper that makes it easy to remove and wash.
